I keep telling myself “no heels on Halloween!” And year after year I make a new pair. But all that is left now is a snap for the collar and to sew the clips to the boots. The white I used was to thin to hold it’s self up, so I am totally just clipping them to the skirt black milk style. Also I need to figure out if I am doing a darker wig or my blue hair because right now with everything, the blue hair is almost too much for it all.
Model magic, a plastic mask, and some well hidden elastics (I’ll be wearing a destroyed wig with it to hide them completely). I used just over a pound of model magic to make the mask and all the other growths for my body. Expanding foam also works will, but since this is a quick build, I opted for the model magic as it it also light weight and I know how to work with it where as I have never tried the foam before.
No, there is zero visibility when it is over my eyes. You can see some light coming through the outer layers, but I am sure that will change once the paint is on it. Thankfully I planned the elastics around having to lift it to be mobile, and the fungus grows past where the elastics meet the mask, but they cover them with out being attached to the elastics so Jenn can pull the wig over them for photos.
I am starting to love how gaudy and girly this design is becoming with all the rhinestones. Now to go with the knee high boots, or the over the knee boots.
I haven’t forgotten about this, I swear, I’ll get to it when I am not wrangling two large 10wk old puppies and schoolwork and prepping for Halloween shenanigans.
Maya as Mikasa and Emmy as Sasha
I swear, everything in my room has been infected with cordyceps…
Everything including the full mask is about 18-20oz of model magic, not whipped cream :p #clicker #thelastofus
I am literally going completely blind for my clicker, however it is a mask, so it is removable so that I can get around. Now to let it dry and build some smaller growths for my body #clicker #thelastofus
