THE DANGEROUS LADIES
We're the Dangerous Ladies, and we're delighted to meet you. This is our little online space where we keep our costuming progress, tutorials, thoughts and finished works.

Lookie here!
Shazz was in a bit of a predicament, costume-wise, so we made plans to get together and revamp her jumpsuit for Chell from Portal 2. She and her mom had whipped up a rudimentary version last year. After faffing about on Queen St. and buying fabric for other projects, we went back to my place and ripped her jumpsuit apart, used the old jumpsuit for a pattern and lining, and used some old fabric from Jenn’s collection as a new exterior.  It’s not perfect — to time to re-draft from scratch or make the top-half completely wearable — but it looks a lot more ~authentic~ and is now fully lined.
I like “costume renovation” projects. Feels good to do an entire piece in one day.
Well, almost entire. I still need to put the cuffs on the bottoms, but I can’t do that until Monday when Shazz comes back. (Also, it fits very funny on me, haha.)
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh time to go eat.
