The last few things on Mami, another coat of paint on Kyoko’s boots, and a nearly finished To Do list.
Painting boots, FaceTime with Christine, Kyoko’s 95% finished costume, a box of soul gem bits, Mami’s buckles, Sayaka’s triggers, decorating Sayaka’s sword, Emmy putting clips in Mami’s wig.
We are about 85% done Sayaka, 98% done Mami, and 95% done Kyoko.
Madoka Sewing Day is Monday. Expect ten thousand pictures of Jenn weeping crystals of cotton candy and pink sparkles.

Progress day; mostly little invisible things like hook and eyes, snaps and clips, but we’re in the home stretch.

We were so busy yesterday that when we finished and I took Christine to the bus station, I forgot to post these.
We remade the cincher to be more flattering. Just gotta add the trim to it now, but that can wait a week or two, because I am all sewed out for now.
The old cincher is on right, sans buckles and without a zipper, 27-29” waist but could be adjusted for smaller with zipper placement. If anyone wants the sucker for any reason, let me know and make an offer for buy/trade. Toronto local pick-up available, Ottawa pick-up available if you get to me in the next 24-36 hrs. If not local, it’ll take a few weeks before I can put it in the mail (as I will be out of town!) but it’s up for offer! :) Sold and awaiting payment.

I will point this out now before someone is like “MAMI’S HAIR DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!” Jenn didn’t want the drill curls, so we are doing loose ringlets for Mami instead :)

Test running it, blargh blargh blargh. Look at me hold the bodice closed with a belt because it has no zipper yet, haha.
Might remake the bodice. I like the shape, I just think it needs to be shorter (lengthwise) and the interfacing I used makes it look strange up close. Wah wah wah.
